Hi my name is Rick Peters, I am a proud Stella Adler alumni and I have been fortunate to work as an actor for the past 26 years. I have worked primarily in television, which has brought me to Canada, New Zealand, Italy, and all over the U.S. I am honored and humbled to be a part of "A Light in Dark Places". Suicide, sadly touches many of our lives, including mine, and it is devastating. I hope our contribution inspires people of all ages, and socio-economic backgrounds to listen and reach out to those of us suffering with depression, It's a dark lonely place, and the light is human compassion. I would like to dedicate my part in this production to Leelah Alcorn, and David Maddocks. I love and miss you Dave, I think about you often, especially when I listen to anything from 10,000 Maniacs, or OMD!

Malin Sandberg, Hailey

We all have felt lost or misunderstood in this world at some point in our lives. We live in a society where we have been manipulated into believing that we have to be, look or behave in a certain way to be accepted. Ever since I was little I told myself that I rather be a rebel then a slave so I ignored authority, society, parents and rules and followed my heart towards what I felt was something bigger. I wanted to find a way of living were I could be and express who I really am. A place were I could enjoy my uniqueness without judgement. After years of spiritual journeys, story telling and beautiful souls I've met through life I have realized that it all lays within me. To be able to love my self unconditionally and be who I am without letting any circumstance affect it. To not let anyone tell you you're unworthy or less then anyone else. That's why it is such an honor for me to speak up for the voices that didn't get a chance to explore self love and got infected by their negative surroundings without knowing why. It is time to wake up and come together as one. To see each other for who and what they are. To accept one another. To love yourself and others unconditionally. To have compassion and understanding. And understand that without your uniqueness in this world the universe can't expand. I want to be a role model for what humanity can be by telling you this story that hopefully will bring some awareness and hope into these dark times.
