Los Angeles

Stagehand

Are you passionate about theater and looking to make a meaningful impact?

Volunteer as a stagehand for our Los Angeles ‘Plays for Hope’ event! You’ll play a vital role in supporting our production team, helping to create a memorable experience that raises awareness and fosters hope in our community.

    • Check all props and set pieces beforehand.

    • Set changes during the show.

    • Restore the space at the end of the night.

  • Tech Rehearsal: Cue-to-cue

    • Saturday, September 21 from 10AM - 5PM

    Dress Rehearsals:

    • Sunday, September 22 @ 7PM (with photography)

    • Tuesday, September 24 @ 7PM

    • Thursday, September 26: @ 7PM (final dress)

    Performance Dates

    • Sept 27, 28, Oct 4, 5 from 7PM to 10PM

    • Sept 29 & Oct 6 from 6PM to 9PM

Light & Sound Operator

Are you skilled with lighting and sound equipment and passionate about making a difference?

Volunteer as a Light and Sound Operator for our Los Angeles ‘Plays for Hope’ event! You’ll be instrumental in creating the perfect atmosphere for our performances, ensuring that every scene is illuminated and every sound is crisp.

    • Make sure all sound and lights are working before the show.

    • Run the booth.

    • Close down the lights and sound at the end of the night

House Manager

Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity where you can connect with others who are passionate about mental health?

As a House Manager for 'Plays for Hope,' you'll oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth experience for our guests and helping to foster a supportive environment.

    • Sell tickets

    • Fold and Pass out Programs

    • Reserve Seats

    • Manage money from ticket sales

Reception

Looking to get involved and support a meaningful cause?

Volunteer at the reception following our Los Angeles ‘Plays for Hope’ event! You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes our guests, serve complimentary drinks, and ensures everyone has a great start to their evening.

    • Serve complimentary drinks and water after performances and/or sell merch.

    • Call time: one hour into the show

  • Volunteers can sign-up for one or multiple dates

Post Card Writing

Looking for a fun way to make a difference?

Bring a friend and come hang out, enjoy some good food, and help us write postcards to support suicide prevention through the arts. It’s a great chance to meet new friends and spread some hope!

Set Painting

Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity where you can be creative and for a good cause?

Come help us paint and build our set for our upcoming event, ‘Plays for Hope’! Meet some new people, get creative, and have fun!

    • Paint flats

    • Paint mural and furniture
