Allie Costa, Writer

Allie Costa is an actor, writer, director, and singer working in film, TV, theatre, and voiceover. Her acting credits include Spring Awakening, 90210, You Me & Her, Future Shock, and Alien vs. Musical. She's also appeared in commercials and podcasts, narrated audio books and documentaries, and lent her voice to video games and animated projects. Her original works have been produced internationally, including the critically acclaimed Two Girls, Music of the Mind, Boxes Are Magic, and Can You Keep a Secret? She's currently writing an original episodic series. Occasionally, she sleeps.

César Di Bello, Director

César Di Bello is an Argentinian- Spanish director, actor and producer. In theater, he loves directing for A Light In Dark Places and this is his third time doing so. He also directed the Stella Adler Lab Theater Company in "The Dumb Waiter" and "The Importance of Being Earnest". At last, he directed a zoom version of "The Importance of Being Earnest". You can see him in the comedy "Original Sin (Pecado Original)" in HBOMax. He would like to thank his wonderful cast for their dedication and the audience for joining us tonight. Also, a massive thank you to Kelly and the rest of the ALIDP team for their hard work!

Meet the Cast

Justin Heller, Kinnin

Justin Heller is an actor and writer from Texas. Last seen on the stage in It's Only a Play! at the Morgan-Wixson, he is also a Stella Adler student and writer of fiction and non-fiction. He is thrilled to be onstage working with amazing people in support of a good cause. Justin would like to thank Kelly, Cesar, and the whole ALIDP team for the opportunity, and everyone for coming out!

Zein Khleif, Samina

Zein is a Palestinian-American actress, singer, and producer. Born to Middle Eastern immigrants, she is a first generation American and speaks English and Arabic fluently. Zein grew up between Washington D.C. and the Middle East, then earned her BA in Political Psychology from Brown University. Before moving to LA, she was privileged to perform at some of the Capital’s most iconic venues including the White House, the Kennedy Center, and The Washington National Cathedral.

Zein aims to take part in, and create, art that is powerful and transcends the stereotypes society has put on her Arab culture. Her goal is to humanize people of the Middle East - in all their races, religions, and ethnicities. Most recently, she can be seen playing Maysoon on the Netflix/A24 show MO, as well as the lead in BLEED, DON'T DIE - a TIFF Filmmakers Lab drama.

She'd like to thank A Light in Dark Places for their continued work, and she's honored to take part in this year's show!
