Looking Forward

Jonathan Kuhn, Writer

Jonathan Kuhn received both his BFA in Writing for Screen and Television and his Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California, where he studied under playwright Prince Gomolvilas. In 2015, Jonathan’s play “Ex Communication” (which he also directed) was part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. He has performed multiple times at The Moth, including one LA GrandSLAM. Last year Jonathan was a member of PlayGround LA, and he was recently selected to participate again this year.

Blake Lewis, Director

Blake recently had his directorial debut in theater staging the world premier of his play, Adam and Eve, at Theatre of NOTE for the Hollywood Fringe Festival.  He is honored to have the opportunity to contribute to "A Light In Dark Places", as it is a wonderful stepping stone toward having the necessary conversations.  He would like to thank Kelly for her heart and determination in making this event possible.  She is a rockstar.

Meet the Cast

Salim Aliaga moved from Bolivia in 2011 and graduated from the Stella Adler Academy of Acting of Los Angeles after completing their 2 year program. His theater credits include Lost in Yonkers (Dir. I want to thank Kelly for the trust and opportunity to be part of this project, it was an absolute privilege.

Georgina Bekerian, Michelle

Georgina was born in Caracas, Venezuela to Armenian parents. Having art instilled in her at a young age, it is no surprise she stumbled upon acting in her High School's production of The Merchant of Venice where she played Launcelot Gobbo. After a long detour she choose Stella Adler as her place of study of which she is an ongoing student. She has participated in theatre productions of Othello, The Comedy of Errors, Hurlyburly, Agnes of God, The Jacksonian and For the Use of the Hall. Film credits include Something About Her and Love Is. You can see her next in the Wrapal Commercial.

She would like to thank Kelly O'Malley for her dedication in bringing awareness to a topic that affects so many, Blake Lewis for his patience and guidance, to Jonathan Kuhn for an inspirational piece and lastly to her cast mates both of whom she holds in high regards.
