Jessica Moss, Writer

Jessica is a performer, writer, and producer. She is the creator/performer of solo shows Modern Love, and Polly Polly. Her full-length plays include Next to Him, I Will Miss You When You’re Gone, Cam Baby, A Girl Lives Alone and others. Her work has been developed or presented at Great Plains Theatre Conference, Roundabout Theatre, Premiere Stages, Kitchen Dog Theatre, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Canadian Stage Festival of New Ideas and Creation, among others. As an actor, she has appeared in shows with Necessary Angel/Luminato, Tarragon Theatre, SummerWorks, Sudbury Theatre Centre, the NAC, and many times at the Toronto Fringe. She went to Juilliard.

Caitlin Apparcel, Director

Caitlin is an actor and teacher out here in Los Angeles. She is from Fresno,CA and has her Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Minor in American Studies from California State Fullerton. This will be her 2nd time directing for ALIDP and she couldn’t be more excited to return. She currently teaches the movement program for Stella Adler Academy.  Caitlin wants to extend a huge thank you to Kelly, the team, and the cast for creating such a beautiful environment and show this year (and every year). This is a health issue which is near and dear to her heart and she is so proud to be involved. And yes, Caitlin does identify as a Slytherin.

Meet the Cast

Jaxy Boyd, Fiona

Jaxy Boyd is a member of Theatre of NOTE and SAG-AFTRA, and on the board of San Rafael’s AlterTheatre. Some of her most recent appearances include NCIS, This Is Us, Maggie, and NOTE’s The Theatre Zone. An Army BRAT through and through, she has degrees from Stanford University and the Haas School of Business. Jaxy is very pleased to be making her first in-person on-stage appearance since the pandemic with ALIDP!

Kelly O’Malley, Jackie

Kelly O’Malley is a Los Angeles based actress from Frisco, Texas. She studied acting at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre - Los Angeles after graduating from Southern Methodist University with a double major in Religious Studies and Film & Media Arts. She would like to thank Caitlin for expertly diagnosing her as a Gryffindor with a rising in Slytherin.
