Patricia Lawler Kenet, Writer

Patricia is an attorney and writer. Her play “Ten-Minute Warning” was selected among over 500 entries for the 25 the Aloha Theatre Playwriting Festival. Her play “Patti Did Us In” was a finalist in the New York New Works Theatre Festival in 2018. She has written two non-fiction books and her essays have appeared in Slate.com, The New York Times, New York Newsday and The Fiction Pool. She studied playwriting at the Barrow Theatre Group; screenwriting and television comedy writing at the Jacob Krueger Studio and Improvisational Comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade. She is a board member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NYC-Metro).

Caroline Hamilton, Director

Caroline is a Dallas-based director and producer. She has most recently directed It's My Party! at Echo Theatre and Goat Song at Second Thought Theatre. She's also directed Bethany and How I Learned to Drive (SMU), as well as readings of Bright Half Life (Echo Theatre), CHURCH (Echo Theatre), and Goodbye (New Visions). Caroline has also worked at Dallas Theatre Center, Stage West, Undermain Theatre, and Upstart Productions. She is also the Production Manager for podcast company Spoke Media, and has produced podcasts Between The World and Me (HBO), Bedtime Stories with Netflix Jr. (Netflix), 10 Songs That Made Me (Spotify), and more. She holds a BFA in Theatre Studies from SMU's Meadows School of the Arts.

Lindsay Hayward is a performer, playwright, and educator who spent over a decade working abroad with such companies as the South African National Theatre, London’s Buzz Theatre Group, CODA at The Ashcroft Theatre, and Tricycle Studios before returning to the DFW area. Hayward has performed locally with Shakespeare Dallas, Theatre Three, Echo Theatre, Garland Summer Musicals, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Teatro Dallas, Circle Theatre, and Uptown Players. A Dramatists Guild Member, her written work has been featured across platforms and countries, including Women Playwrights International Conference Montreal 2022, Bake-Off Press, TITC Live Stream, Arts Council UK, and Fort Worth Child. Hayward is an avid advocate for mental health awareness and honest representation in the arts. She holds a MA from Texas Woman’s University, a PDA from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, a BFA from Texas Christian University, and a Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive Alumni. Hayward is the Education Manager for Casa Mañana Theatre, Inc. Follow her on New Play Exchange

Malcolm Stephenson co-stars as Nikolai in Taylor Sheridan's "1883" on Paramount+. He also appears as Barnaby in the award-winning web series "Human Telegraphs." Favorite theatre projects include Robert Falcon Scott in "Terra Nova" at the Sanders Theatre in Fort Worth; Richard in "Trial," directed by Lori Petty at the Beckmann Theatre in New York; and Jonathan Harker in "Dracula" with George Chakiris at Montclair Theatrefest in New Jersey. Diehard fans of Daytime Television may remember him as Howard Snow on "Guiding Light." Malcolm trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
