Aly Kantor, Writer

Aly Kantor is a playwright, performer, and teaching artist from Long Island, New York. Her award-winning, internationally-produced work is pleasantly quirky, femme-focused, often queer, and full of speculation and subversion. Aly’s short plays are performed across the country, and she has several plays and monologues in print through Smith & Kraus and Applause Books. She is also a Creative Associate with EastLine Theatre, where many of her full-length plays have begun their artistic journey.

Aly’s full-length work has been developed or produced with organizations including Vivid Stage, Theatre Off-Kilter, Playhouse on Park, Music Theatre of Connecticut, The Bechdel Group, Mirrorbox Theatre, New Normal Rep, Clamour Theatre Company, The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company, Storefront Theatre of Indianapolis, The Black Swamp Players, and New Art City Theatre. She has been proud to work with schools on new play development and production, including Kent State University, Baruch College, and the Cab Calloway School for the Arts.

Steven J. Bridgeman, Director

Steven J. Bridgeman, is an Actor, Writer, and Director originally from the east coast. He’s been acting his whole life, moved out to Los Angeles in 2010, and embarked on his studies at Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theater in 2013. Shortly after he began directing as a way to create his own opportunities and has directed multiple short films, a TV pilot, in short play festivals, and assistant directed some play productions. He has more work in the pipeline that you can keep up with via his YouTube channel: waveworks-productions.

Kelly O’Malley, Bethany

Kelly O’Malley is a Los Angeles based actress from Frisco, Texas. She studied acting at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre - Los Angeles after graduating from Southern Methodist University with a double major in Religious Studies and Film & Media Arts. Her most recent works include short films Valentine's Day (dir. Tina Carbone) and Woman Reclining on Grass (dir. Claudia Doumit, The Boys) acting opposite Pete Gardner (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend)..

Shannon Creedon Axtell, Christine

Shannon Creedon Axtell is honored to be a part of ALIDP. Most recently, Shannon appeared on stage as Parolles in All's Well That Ends Well. Shannon is a recent graduate of the Art of Acting Studio’s Professional Conservatory program, where she played Olga in Chekhov’s Three Sisters; Agamemnon, and Andromeche in Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida; and wrote and performed in her solo show, A Choiceless Choice, which she is working on expanding.
