Blake did not submit a bio, but we love him anyway. He serves on ALIDP’s Board of Directors and thinks Kelly O’Malley is the funniest person he’s ever had the pleasure to meet.

Diane Devilers, Director

Diane is a French-born, German actress. From the early age of 6, she began acting and performing on stage. After graduating from a French-German high school with both baccalaureates, Diane moved in 2016 to Los Angeles and graduated in the two-year intensive training program at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre, end of 2018. She is now enrolled in the L.A. Film School for a bachelor in cinematography. Her theatre credits includes: Piece of Cake(dir. Timo Bechert), Thé à la Menthe ou t'es Citron?(dir. Bernard Louvion), Middletown(dir. Rick Peters), TheCrucible(dir. Bonnie McNeil), The London Cuckolds(dir. Christopher Thornton), Quills(dir. Bradley Wayne James). Her film credits include: Love Fiercely(dir. Michael Veritas), Coke&Burritos(dir. Jake Cohen) and The truth hurts(dir. Michael Veritas). “I'm so very grateful for Kelly O’Malley and her amazing team for offering me this first time experience as a director. No words can express how important the intentions for ‘A Light In Dark Places are’. Therefore I truly hope we can reach even more people than it has already and offer a safe place for anyone in need. Thank you for everything, never give up in what you believe.”

Meet the Cast

Carlo Figlio, Man

Carlo Figlio is a Peruvian born actor. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY and south east Colorado, and, for the past 10 years, has called Los Angeles his home. He is an alumnus of the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles and of the California Institute of the Arts. Carlo is also a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, so he's ready to go. Carlo loves his wife Debby and his dog Rocky.

Zoe Kanters, Woman

Zoe grew up acting in film and theatre in Chicago. She studied and performed at theaters such as Second City and Victory Gardens. She is also a graduate from The University of Michigan’s BFA acting program. Some of her credits include By the Bog of Cats (Irish Repertory Theatre), Dying City (Theatre of Note), and Nasty Habits (Blue Fvr), which she recently received a nomination for Best Actress at the Vancouver Web Fest. Zoe is also a writer/producer and just finished her first feature film which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival and will be out later this year.  She is thrilled to be a part of A Light in Dark Places, and the wonderful work that they do.
